Lovely chlo lo gif set! :)
This might be one of my favorite parallels. Sometimes Chloe and Chlo-Lo still give me feelings *sigh*

I like it. I think it’s one of Sophia’s endearing quirks. And also because when I talk, after a while, it starts sounding the same way lol

The more you tilt the controller, the further you moveGaming Logic
more you tilt your body your character will get away from danger
the louder you yell, the more critical hits you’ll land
when you stand up you can see everyone’s weakspots
when you tilt your head you’ll be able to see more of the area
When you lean forward, you get +30% concentration.
When you use controller 1, it means you’ll win
Throwing yourself bodily to the side helps you avoid obstacles in racing.
Threatening the playable character with physical injury will make platform puzzles easier.
All of these things. All of them.

My favorite part of this will forever be how Clark whips his head around, like he’s literally looking to see a knife fight at the condiment stand. ROFL.
I feel like the majority of Lois and Clark’s relationship is him getting freaked out over her wacky scrapes, and Lois totally not seeing why any of this is a big deal, she’s Lois freakin’ Lane, yo, it takes more than a silly knife fight to make her lose her cool. XD
God, I love them so much. Never change, bbs.
Bryan Q. Miller wrote this episode. I love that we consistently see throughout this series that just as the hero is always a part of Clark—-even without his powers—-the “dork” is also a real part of him.
I always thought Tom was hilarious as Clark. He has great comedic timing. For such a physically beautiful man, I actually think his greatest strength is in playing that comedic aspect. He was very genuine as the dorky farmboy- come to the big city. In fact, I truly think that if and when Tom comes back to the acting world….that is what he should be doing. He should be in a comedy. Erica is also very naturally funny. I know her new TV show is a drama and she’s very good at the serious stuff. But, at some point, I’d like to see her return to comedy.
One of the things I liked most about Tom and Erica’s interactions together from the minute she set foot on the series was the way in which it impacted Tom as an actor. So much of Smallville was filled with melodrama and angst. Lois was such a welcome addition to the series because she was really the only character for a long time where we saw a different side to Clark Kent. I remember Tom giving several interviews when Erica joined the cast and sharing that he felt grateful to get the chance to show a different side of himself and actually have fun.
I always loved that we saw different sides to Clark when he was with Lois. He was snarky and sarcastic and bitchy and petty and stubborn. He was lovably flawed and came off like a real person. And I loved that even back in the early days their scenes could switch back and forth quickly between being sarcastic or teasing into being very sincere and supportive.
Ultimately, that’s what I liked the most about the Clark/Lois relationship on Smallville. It was extremely sincere and there was no doubt by the end of the series that they were madly and crazy and forever in love. But, they were still funny and it was always clear that they truly enjoyed being around each other just as it was always clear that neither one of them was going to suffer the other one’s bullshit.
On a show with way too much angst, their relationship was always based in joy. And I really, really loved that.
Truth be told, humor is one of the things that is an absolute requirement to me in a Superman adapatation. One of the things I love most about Clark Kent is his ability to just straight up laugh and one of the things I love most about Lois/Clark/Superman is that there is always that underlying sense of humor undernearth the surface. I love that Lois Lane, when she’s written correctly, would probably drive a lesser man absolutely up the wall crazy with her intensity and I love that the same traits that would turn weaker men off about this woman are some kind of aphrodisiac for Superman. That’s why I was kind of relieved when they cast an actress who can do comedy like Amy Adams for Lois Lane in the new Superman movie and emphasized in the press release that Lois was funny. Because she is funny. And I really need my Clark/Lois to be funny in-between all the “I would die for you/I believe in you, now Go save the world/ I love you, Lois Lane, until the end of time” stuff.
QFT! And now I can’t stop looking at that last GIF LOL!
